The Sims Social and Diesel have teamed up. What do you think?
After partnering with EA for a “Diesel Stuff Pack” in the Sims 3 on PC and Mac, Diesel has now come to the virtual, free-to-play version of the Sims: The Sims Social on Facebook. This cross-promotion sees Facebook gamers being give the chance to purchase just four new themed items from the game’s store, but they’re luckily all easy to find via a special “Diesel” tab in the marketplace.
As of this writing, there’s a bed, two chairs and an entertainment item available to purchase, and none of the items cost SimCash. Here’s a complete lineup of the goodies:

Hey there!
Did you know that just a short drive out of Littlehaven there are long golden beaches lined with palm trees and almost no people in sight? It’s one of my favorite places to go and I’m inviting you to come with me to Littlehaven Shores!
It’s a great little hideaway, away from the town and all the hustle and bustle of daily life. I like to go there to play in the sand, take in a little sun and just hang out with some of my friends!
I love it there so much that I’ve taken the plunge and finally bought my very own vacation home! Whether I want to spread out into a nice new space or just get away from it all, my new vacation home is just perfect and I can’t wait to show you!
Of course, it’s no fun if I’m completely by myself, so I hope you’ll say yes and come with me for a visit! 
… You know… There are empty houses all over Littlehaven Shores ready to be taken… 
I can’t wait for all of my friends to come join me!
Oh, can you just imagine having your own vacation home? What will it be? Will you turn it into your very own ‘relaxing zone’, or maybe it’ll be your party house, or maybe a music studio – or art studio – or, or… whew! I’m getting carried away again!
Anyway, I’d better scoot. I’ve got a few postcards to write up and send to friends and family telling them all about my new place. I hope they’ll come and visit. And hey, maybe if you decide to move in here I can visit your vacation homes and see what you’ve been up to!
