The Sims Social – 65% Problem
Posted by in NewsUpdate: The Sims Social loading problem still exists all over the world: Germany, England, Spain, United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore and many more countries has reported the same problem. We assure that The Sims Social team is working hard to make this game going again. Be patient!
The Sims Social players are continuously reporting that they are facing problems connecting to the game on Facebook. The Sims Social game loads until 65% and then gets stuck at it. This started on Friday, August 28, and is still relevant today.
The Sims Social team know about this problem and apologize its fans:
We understand that some players are having difficulties accessing The Sims Social. The team is aware of the current issues and working hard to resolve them and get the game back up for everyone soon. However, while we work on this, there may be intermittent maintenance for some players, for which we apologize.
We understand that some of you can’t play The Sims Social for the 4th day now. However we can’t do nothing more than just wait for The Sims Social team to fix it. Please let us know what countries still experience this problem in the comments below!

I’m from Germany and obviously my friends can play as they send me requests all the time. I can’t logon though, neither with using Google Chrome nor with Microsoft Internet Explorer. I shut down all not neccessary running tasks and still it won’t load. I’M SO UNHAPPY!

im having the same problem ive tried firefox, internet explorer and google chrome and i still have the same problem on all 3 sites hope they sort their problem out soon or im going to be deleting and blocking the game!!!!

Hello, I’m from Brazil and I’m having problems playing The Sims Social, when the game starts to load and comes in 65% it crashes and displays the following message load error message …. United States. I let it sit for 30 minutes hoping it would miraculously load, but no. The team posted a quote yesterday saying it would be down for approximately 30 minutes so…I don’t really understand what they were talking about, but it’s still not working for me. And yes as many have also stated. All of my neighbors and friends still can play but not me. I really don’t think collecting information about where there is problems is going to help since the majority of my neighbors on the sims social live 10 minutes away from me in real life and they can play. FIx it! I’m addicted and it’s killing me!

Italy. I found some problems not only in loading the game but also in the notifications that do not arrive or the state change type from friends in intimate friendship or romantic interest to be going steady. That does not appear, or notifications are not registered or accepted.

the problem started on my page after i did the NEW FACEBOOK PRIVACY CONTROL UPDATE 3 days ago. my husbands also worked fine until he did the update yesterday. my friends who have not done the facebook update yet are still able to play as we speak. THE PROBLEM is the new FACEBOOK UPDATE! someone commented that they messed with privacy settings and their sims game started working again after 3 days of the 65% loading problem. if someone could figure out what changed after the update and HOW TO CHANGE IT BACK, then we can move past this problem!!!!

Portugal – is it a country issue? not sure, there are other people in portugal that don’t have this 65 problem. I have a second FB account and tested starting a new Sims game and does not have this problem, Also tested diferent browsers Chrome, firefox and IE and my on my main account SIMS just does not load, On the second account there are no problems, but my first account that I added before as neighbour was showing yesterday as under maintenance, and today seems to be deleted.

Philippines. It’s the 4th day not being able to play, it gets stuck on 65% then Oops! snag again and again. I tried logging out and logging back in, restarting my computer and it still doesn’t work. I even used different browsers all cookies and cache cleaned, then i installed, uninstalled and reinstalled java and adobe flashplayer. In the end it still gets stuck at 65% Oops! snag.
When i use my other account i can play but it’s not the account i use anymore. I bough a red BBQ a while ago and now the lady on the left is asking me to buy a BBQ in order to comeplete this task. Why couldn’t the game tell me that I already have a BBQ and that it is not neccessary to buy one. Now I have to spend more simoleons for nothing. Any tips?

love this game i have been playing this game as much as possible whenever it would load..today however i cant play at all…the game loads, i can even play for about one min or so before an error will come up saying i need to reload..so i reloaded it again and again everytime same message… i dont understand the problem because i game plays normal behind this error message… i lost all my gifts that my sims friends sent and i have to do the same things over and over.. i have alot of patience but man o man this is krazy..before i would recommend this game to everyone now i dont think i would.
I Have gotten stuck on random 65% problems as well as 85% which I’ve never seen before…also can not access the game at all at random times I attempt to play, I’ll get redirected over and over, it’ll seem like I am not logged into Facebook at all and make me log in over and over only for the problem to keep happening and have to try later or another day or something. I have many issues with the sims social too!! I try to accept or send “good friends” or “dating” request and it doesnt go through. After 3 days it asks to send a reminder, which I do and still nothing. Then I have requests pending and I click “ok” to accept but it never actually gives me the option to accept it. Also I want to send some neighbor requests and it keeps saying I already did, and more than 3 days have gone through and I still cant send them again. I keep getting “try again tomorrow” and still cant. I cant even send gifts, it says the same thing. Also.. is there a way I can change the name on my sim??

Still having issues sending gifts, asking for items and publishing announcements to my news feed, sometimes the game just goes gray or the facebook box pops up and all there is are those blue loading lines… it just hangs there and I have to refresh the game.

United States – I can play, but game resets constantly and tasks show undone after i have completed them. My biggest issue is that i am unable to send out any requests… friends, help, etc… nor can i send gifts. This is getting very frustrating!!!!!!!

I am/ was having all the time the Reload problems and I hope will get better soon. I live in USA and looks like my husband also had the same trouble here. The only thing that was complicated is that you needed to re-do everything you have done after the reload process. Hope you find the solution soon. Other than that is a great game.

Australia: I can’t see the whole screen so can’t make it bigger. When i have friends msg box appearing on screen it is almost all missing and can’t click on it. I’m in the early stages of the game so have not established anything at all except unpacking ONE BOX!! Then the next step was: “click on my portrait to visit me” now what portrait? i click on the msg box but nothing. I click anywhere and everywhere but nothing. I’ve tried leaving the application and unliking the application then adding it again to see if it made a difference but it only took me back to the girl with the portrait msg box that does nothing…..I really hope that this gets rectified soon as I love the sims……

I have not been able to visit any of my neighbors for days, they can visit me and make us various levels of friendships. I am not able to visit mine and do anything socially. I continuously see I is “Hit a snag” each time I try to visit them.. I can not complete my missions if not able to visit and get them done. this is aggravating. I’m from Canada, and both my sister an I are unable to access any sending/receiving of messages or gifts. We can play the game, we just cannot interact with any of our friends. We’ve been playing for a while, and on the side bar it is now saying that I just joined the game and have 0/129 goals completed. Really…because I’m sure I have over 30…. i have a quest entitled “Business Time” this quest was already in level four entitled “become an artist”. In my first quest here it says that i need to purchase an artistic clothes worth of 750 simoleons. But every time i purchase there is no change in my quest. and every time i do this quest it always appear the “oops we’ve hit a snag try refreshing your browser…”.Is there a problem with this . i kept on doing it again and again.

There are always issues and this is an daily basis… and it doesn’t matter what country you are in… you should be able to enjoy playing your favorite virtual game without so many frustrations/issues/concerns. Our games are a place to find as mentioned some tranquil times….

Hi, I’m in Canada and have just encountered the 65% problem. I noticed that you said some players may lose their game entirely and you will compensate them with 2500 simoleons. I just purchased $100 worth of sims cash, or whatever the dark yellow stuff is, in the last two days and I’m wondering how you will reimburse me for that, as I’m sure all players who have spent money on the Sim’s Social for FB are.

I have experienced not being able to play, constant error screens, and items are bugging and not loading. I live in the United States, when will this be fixed its very annoying.
Constant loading issues. Half the time it will not load at all. Cannot even play it now. Even in the middle of playing the game, decorations and characters suddenly will no longer load. When you send messages to friends to ask for a hammer etc. (whatever you need to build, or need an amount of) the message may or may not show up in said friends Social Sims message box. And if it does show up in their box and they click on it to help you, you may or may not recieve that item.
This loading problem, and the active content loading times are terrible! and there’s definitely nothing wrong with my systems..

Im hating Sims Social!!! My problem was not being able to access storage & shop for new skills items. EA told me to do this & that.. I DID EVERYTHING THEY TOLD ME TO DO. And now it has gotten worst. After I made sure I had the latest plugin, deleted the cookies, removed application & reinstalled, restarted my PC.. NOW SIMS SOCIAL IS NOT LOADING ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a waste of time & money!!!! I wished I never bought anything and wasted time if I knew it was going to end up this way anyway!!!!

I can not buy any clothers, lose by the tasks that are time limited. Thus losing the opportunity present after completink tasks. I get an error 3215 and it always restarts and returns to its original state. Longer it takes 5 days, so hopefully soon it correct that I can play on.

I have failed a timed quest run due to the game freezing and not fully loading as well as I LOST my free 25 simcash!! It was in my account and when my game said we hit a snag and to keep our fingerrs crossed it reloaded and erased my simcash, which has still not returned to me. This game hits too many snags and continuously needs to reload causing my posts for requesting help not to be posted and then needing to wait 1 to 3 days for the quest to even offer me the chance to REpost. Please do something!! I am no longer enjoying The Sims with my friends and family =(

Philippines. I’ve been having intermittent issues with the Sims Social game. There are times that I can play it fine and just get an oops! thingy when there is a problem with the connection. Unfortunately, I am getting a “No data received. Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data” error most of the times. The first time that happened, I tried clicking on the app several times hoping it will load on the next try but to no avail. Then I tried using Firefox and IE since I am on Chrome but still nothing.
I hope you guys can fix that problem. It gets a little aggravating at times.

I play The sims Social on facebook and i started adding a room to my house. i needed 5 people to get the room completed. after i did get all 5 people i clicked on it to build the room. Everytime i go to build it i get a message across my screen saying “sorry we’ve hit a snag, please reload your page. Fingers crossed!’. No matter how many times i reload and close my browser on both internet explorer and firefox. it says the same thing. what am i doing wrong? why is this happening?
I seem to be having the same problem as other people are. Sim Social just wont load on firefox! I’ve tried looking up different things i could do but nothing helps! Its getting really annoying. I also recently purchase simcash and never received it, which pisses me off cuz thats money wasted then since i can’t use the simcash.

Hey! I got mine to work! Ok heres what to do.
I would always use Google Chrome when playing this game. So i figured maybe it’s the browser. I’ve tried Safari, Internet Explorer, and FoxFire. It worked! Seeing that 100% put a smile on my face! Haha. Just change your usual browser and it’ll definitely work! It did for me! Hope this helps!

I’m in USA and I haven’t been able to play for a month now. My hubby thought it was issue with connection so he removed the app and now I cant get it back. This game was mainly the one I played so this is ver frustrating.
I’m in USA, having issues for month now. Removed app thinking it needed to be reinstalled and now can’t even do that. All the site does is say lost connection. Since this was the only game I really spent time on, I’m not very thrilled.
I find it very frustrating to play, when the game has these continual snags! Also, often there are glitches with sending and receiving requests from friends. Because there is often a limited time to complete quests, etc. I feel that it puts one at a real disadvantage. I sincerely hope these problems disappear soon, as I’m considering no longer playing, and I do really enjoy the game.
Been trying to get on all afternoon :/ bloody annoying! It’ll load to 65% then I get an “Oops, need to reload” window. Just glad I managed to finish the timed mission beforehand!

I and my entire family and friends cannot play Sim social on facebook very well unlike before . We are always unable to get the prize of any quest coz it’s very consistent that Sim Social has always a problem. Either using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, IE9 or even other browsers. Error like Snag, then we get this 0xxxxxx error then it crash the whole browser then some of our loaptops and pc’s hard drive were all crashed. We’ve talked to all our techsupport – Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo, Toshiba, I am a Dell tech support myself as well as Verizon and At&t ISP tech support, and after isolating the problem it came out that your game turns out to be a virus already. But my Family keeps on trying to play coz that’s the only game we’ve ever wanted to play. EA is neglecting our main complains and concerns. We still wanted to play even though were already too aggravated and 100% dissatisfied with it. We can’t even get a compensation on the game coz we have never signed anything but at least you can do something to fix it… This is Too MUCH!!! 6 days of problem with the oops sorry we have hit a snag reload. I wasted gold coins on items to finish a quest and then couldnt even get on the game to attempt finishing it. 6 days of attempting to get it to load and not crash and have done all the updates fixes and clearing cookies and my husband who also plays has had no problem with getting on to his from the same computer. 6 DAYS!!!! Thats enough to even test the patience of a saint!!!

Hi ive been hitting snag at 65 and 45 % for last two weeks can get in but then have to reload reload reload i live in quebec canada.I love this game but spending sim cash on this game just to hits snags all the time is becoming to much plz help ith this.

I have been having problem logging into SIM SOCIAL for the past couple of days! It’s strange because my friends have no problem logging on their SIM SOCIAL from the same computer! The loading always stops at 65% so I think this is the same problem as all the complaints from August of last year. How do I report this??
After reading the below posts, I see that nothing has changed in the last 8 months. Because I am still having loading problems. Surely they can’t still be working on this “Reloading” problem!!!

Hi, I am an avid player of Sims Social. yesterday, i tried to redecorate but i was stuck with “snag”. Up until now, I cant open my Sims Social. It always gives me the “snag” error. I’ve tried different browers (chrome.mozilla,IE), ive cleared my cache and cookies, but until now, it’s giving me the same message. Funny is, other players can open his game with no error. So I came to the conclusion that mine is the only one having an issue. please help me..I love the game and I cant play 2 days in a row now!!! PLEASE HELP!

Every time i try to expand my property it says “reload” ,this has been going on now for almost two weeks…when i try to complete quest’s it hits a snag…..would like to play the game again soon ,please get this fixed!!

few days ago i asked myself how to quit this stupid game. Thanks EA for this problem. Now I have good reason to quit play. Some quest need to have 18+ mark, I’m disappointed
As I try and play the sims social it will load but then oopps we hit a snag keep popping up telling me to refresh it. I do and it STILL doesnt work its gettin really frustrating have not been able to play for well over two weeks

Has You all with the issue attempted to clear your web browsing cache? then changing the storage settings on the game to unlimited data ? hm worked for me .
