The Sims Social is expected to be the first game that has meaning for real life and its Social Interactions. Relationships with your friends will not be stable just like in real life and you may discover that your friend has become your best friend or perhaps your biggest enemy. Each step in your relationships will be shared with your friends on Facebook which is expected to makes an impact on your real life.
The Sims Social Currency or Simoleons will be one of the vital parts of The Sims Social game. There will be two types of currency: Free Silver Simoleons and Gold Simoleons, which can be bought with Facebook Credits. Players earn Simoleons for certain interactions like improving a skill or interacting with another Sims. Simoleons can be spend on buying premium decoration items, energy refills or for skipping quests. For example changing your personality will cost you 50 Golden Simoleons and some trainees price varies from 18 to 47 Golden Simoleons. Don’t be afraid the vast majority of items will be available for Free Silver Simoleons.
The Sims Social like other traditional Facebook games will have an Energy Gauge that depletes by action and replenishes over time. All social and currency earning interactions in The Sims Social will cost you one energy, while satisfying basic needs like going to the bathroom or sleeping will be free. Energy can be refilled with Gold Simoleons.
In The Sims Social game Sims progress will be measured and aligned with The Sims Social game levels. The higher the level, the more items can be purchased and the more interactions your Sim can have. Sim progress comes from total home value, Relationship progress bars and Social Points. Home value increases with each item you buy while Social Points can be earned through interacting with other Sims.

I don’t like that you have to spend real money to get certain things in the game. What ever happened to getting that with a job in the sims? Why can’t we just play without worrying about money? This almost turns me off to the game because it has just proven itself to be just like all the other apps on facebook. They’re all the same. I will play it, but I’m not going to spend real money to get ahead in a GAME of life. It’s only a game. It’s not the real thing.

I also agree. I am a pensioner and cannot afford to spend REAL money on a game. The computer cost me enough!!! Maybe, we would be able to EARN some gold simoleons. The process would be slower, but it would give everybody a chance to get some of the special things

Plus, EA possibly has a ton of money from all the Sims/Sims2/Sims 3/ expansion and stuff packs. They could get a 1 Million and use it… for the game… instead of us paying to get… whatever.

They charge money because its not cheep to make something like this, they cant just do it for free, so quit bitching and play the game already. ps. would you like to work for free?? I didnt think so..

WoW!!!This game is so cool.. But it looks more like sims 1 not sims 2 and it’s very slow. I spend 15 minutes just to enter
And That for money is very stupid! Why I would spend real money for the game? It’s not fair, because then other people can bye more stuffs

Make friends with someone and then flirt with them until a screen asking to send a request for a relationship change comes up. they have to accept it

after looking forward to this im not anymore, i can handle the energy bar. but the only way to gain money is slowly doing things…..u cant get a job u have to buy credits from facebook or ea or whatever……dont u have enough of my money from the games and expansions, cant u give us a way to earn money[more money] where the people that cant buy the credits actually have a chance -___-.
this time ea has a flop…yet ppl will still play only because its name is sims -__-
Sims Social is basically good for those who don’t own the REAL Sims games, but that is all. I would much rather be playing my Sims 3 game than waste my time on Facebook. I stopped using Facebook except for the secure browsing; its too dangerous otherwise.

how come when someone asks me to go steady and i try to accept but yet it still shows as Dating???? Confused!! Please help!!!
I totally agree with you Crystal, my sim says that I am Totally Inseparable with another sim, and when I go to his facebook to have it accept it still says that he is Totally inseparable with me and that I am dating him. It is very confusing. I wish that they would fix things on this game.

i don”t lke the sim social game i love the sim social game i enjoy playing .the only question i have is what happens when you don”t have any more space to build rooms. do we get another expansion

Really wish we could get jobs and have a business!!! That would be awesome! Without that, the game is gonna get kinda boring when all you can do is visit other sims and do stuff at your house. How about a family? That would be fun also. Just sayin…

I think we need to get a chance to earn SimCash without having to pay for it, its nowhere near as good as the real sims game, i can deal with the energy bar as annoying as it is but seeing all the cool stuff you want but cant buy coz you cant afford to pay real money for Simcash then its really off-putting. if im guna pay real money for it i mayaswell go out and buy the real game… also would be good if we can get our partners in the sims to move in with us and start a family etc just like the real game and get jobs etc, it gets boring doing the same things over and over again. And just back to the SimCash thing, i think we should get a couple of free ones every few days with out bonuses and everytime we level up, i know its not much but at least we could save up for that thing we really wanted but couldnt afford to buy….please consider it…

Im very disappointed on this game. First…i lost my main room and all the stuffs in it, when i was editing few weeks ago. Second, i bought new room and when i tried to edit i cant move it, rotate it, even sell it. I tried so many times but it end up with freezing and i hv to close the program. I got no idea what has happened. And I’m being frustrated now..coz i’ve already expanded the land but i cant do editing. Please advised. Thanks.
go to storage and and look at the options and see the symbol that shows for building and click it and you will find it i had the same problem
nice reviews but take a look at the “Soul mates” i never had a chance to have the next status because its always going back to Soulmates!!!
why can’t we play the regular give us jobs to earn the gold simoleons because we don’t have money like that to spend on a game
I do like the game and think it is cool to interact with other people on FB through it. But I do wish we could create a family like in the games. And for some reason there have been bad glitches like when I request Items from friends to help me with a quest or build something they are not always getting the request. And then it wont let me do it again when they don’t get it. Also I am not allowed to request other items other then 1 item a day that makes no sense to me. The game is good but could use a little work on and please think about putting a action to have a family in the sims and marriage. Cause it would keep people around and give us more to do. ^ -^
