Judging by the houses many of you have sent in you were just aching for a land expansion. Well wait no more because finally it has arrived !!!
You will notice that 9 “FOR SALE” signs have appeared arround your Sim’s house. By clicking one or several of them you will be able to expand your land. However firstly you will have to fulfill the requirements of the “Land Permit Application”. Do not worry we can assure you that these requirements are not hard to achieve.
As you can see 2000 Simoleons, 3 Contracts and 1 Signature are required to get a “Land Permit”. Most of these can be acquired by asking your firends or spending some SimCash if you want to make the process quicker.
So start expanding and we are eager to see what masterpieces you will come up with.

Just one problem. have 4 signatures but program wont let you get the contracts. Tried 3 times sending them out and no one gets them. So someday it will work.

How come I paid 2000 Simolians each for 2 pieces of property and needed one signature…….and bought the next lot and it cost 5000 simolians and 3 signatures? WTF?
When I first started playing I was very very green..(first time Sims player) and I was accepting just anybody to be neighbors, some are my family and friends and I can’t delete them from my friends list…..how can I get rid of them in my neighborhood.? Some will never play again…just wasn’t their thing. Then, I have dedicated reliable neighbors that I have to go down my enitre friends list to send requests…..is there a way to seperate them after I’ve already accepted them as just friends as opposed to Sims friends? It’s a bummer when I need my neighbors…more like a chore. I have 200 friends and family and need to find a way to make this simple for me, or I’m afraid I will get so frustrated and I will not want to play anymore…….thanks.
Try to unfriend them on facebook and then add again.

gets worse as you go on.. now i need 3 signatures 9 contracts and $7000 for land 4 odds are it will take a year to keep expanding more… even then the block will still be too small to build my Brady Bunch House .. lol
But i’ll keep trying…
P.S we still need a better way to make money now these Outrageous Prices for land and Items !!!!!

I agree with a lot of these folks….The land starts off with 2000 coins and it was nice…then the next plot jumped to 5000 and the next was 7000….. well the one I’m trying to get now is 10000 and still have 6 more land to go….Its really hard to get the land and try to finish all the goals …can you come up with a better deal for the land? I have small rooms and my house is so cluttered with stuff …I feel like those ppl on Hoarders …Please help with another solution to this problem….I love this game more than any other game I play..Thank you

I can’t ask friends for signature on the third request. ( Ask one friend for signature) No option for asking friends. Pleas help!
None of the requests i send get back to me even tho my friends are sending them.
Have your friends click on your stuff BEFORE they accept/return/help out their friends with their requests in their inboxes. This worked for me.
I am having the same problem i cant ask friends for more signitures for more land..it just says waiting for friends response but when they click on the link it says expired..? im confused!!!

Purchased new land now I cant move two of my rooms tryed everything and cant get a responce on how to fix anyone know what to do?
I am having the same problem. They also lost the first room I put in. It was built and ready to go. Next time I went to the Sims S. It had disappeared. Now I put in a new one, and I can’t move the darn thing. It freezes my Firefox also.

i was having trouble sending land contracts to 2 or 3 people i found that is you send it to 15 or more people it well send 90% of the time and to 2 or 3 people 15% of the time

I’m having the same trouble with getting signatures, trying to request again, or request from different neighbors and I cannot do it. I would like the option to ask again (in case they didn’t get the request) or ask others who play more and are more responsive to requests.

i cant move my room so i decided to put all on storage except that one room…because of the expansion…im so frustrated about this!
i built a room and now when i try to move the room or put it in storage or even try to sell it..it only make my computer reload….and its only that room….so now i have a empty room that i want but dont need it to be in the spot its in….how can i fix this….
i was able to click the ask friends tab for signature, then when i was about to publish i accidentally click the “X” button. then i cant repeat again, it stock on waiting for friends to reply. Help!

It is just me or my yesterday’s comment has been deleted.. Well btw here’s a solution from the Playfish forum:
1. Buy the not-yet bought land which your bugged wall is facing to.
2. Go to shop / build mode and bump the bugged wall with another room (I recommend to bump it using a room which can cover the whole bugged wall)
3. Get out from the shop mode, and get into the shop mode.
4. Save to storage / move the room you used to bump the bugged wall with.
5. Get out from the shop mode, and get into the shop mode.
6. Try to move the bugged room.

Hee guys, can you sell your land?
I just re-arranged all my rooms to use my newly bought land. I put all my rooms into storage, and put them back the way I wanted them to be arranged. I even put my default “living room” into storage. Now I can’t get it back, it’s all gone and I lost my entire kitchen with it! None of it is to be found in storage! :’(
It’s not lost stubbs, you should find it in SHOP –> STORAGE –>ROOMS (bottom right icon)

there is this problem with askin for things that u need. for certain things it will let u send a request directly to a neighbor and for other things it will let you post it on your wall which is a weast of time because they never get seen and answered.thiis needs to be fixed so that every request is sent directly to a neighbor

its quite annoying cause the price of the land goes up each time u buy some. I’ve bought 3 pieces and the next one is 7,000! Plus u dont get any house value. my house has a lot of stuff in and i dont have room for another room cause my garden is full
Land is too expensive to buy. What a dumb way to ruin the game. Leave is at 2000.
if you don’t want a neighor you have to go through your fb book account and click on friend and when a box appears click on unfriend and it will delete them off your list and you wont see them when you play sims i do like the land perment but i no im on close getting the 10,000 one woot and im at lvl 40
what the problem you guys are having is when your playing sims and you already send your family and friends stuff and you get it back you cant you cant redo that again tell you wait 1 hole day its the way the game thats why you guys are having so much problrems

is anybody else having trouble buying land now that it’s on sale? i already lost simoleons because i couldn’t get it to work when it was 40% off, and i’d really like it to work before it goes back to full price.
I have asked friends for contracts and nobody is getting the request!!!! Help! Anyone else had this problem? Some “say” they’ve gotten them and clicked.. but I’m still not getting them.. this has been going on for almost a week now.
