The Sims Social says sorry to everyone that is having difficulty with this week’s quest due to having no grass to cut. Game developers did not realized that so many players have cleared the grass already and says players will be able to visit their friends‘ house to cut their grass in any future quests.
The Sims Social offers everyone 500 Free Social Points as a token to say sorry. If you haven’t already claimed you can find them in here!
These are the tips for those who are still stuch in the grass part:
• Make free space in your yard;
• Expand your land;
• Reload the game several times;

really no grass to cut, can u extend the duration of “curiouser” Mission? I don’t have grass to cut until now…. i don’t have grass for 3 days!!!

I had to buy more land just to get that to work and came down to hours left in the quest just to finish that one part. That is ridiculous. I even had clear space on my lot, and plenty of it. Developers need to think a little more before doing something like that. It would have been a lot easier had I been able to clear grass from neighbors lots.
You can’t cut the grass in your neighbours houses. Only in YOUR land
They said that feature would be available in future quests but not this one.

Don’t understand why people can’t read a few simple sentences and comprehend them anymore….
In furture games, But now you have to follow the tips. If you need grass to cut.
It says you’ll be able to cut grass in your friend’s house for any FUTURE quests so i guess this one’s gone already… i was lucky i bought a new piece of land and had grass to cut, my husband got none and can’t finish the quest
Hey Tufy you are not able now to cut grass in friends yards but will be in future quests. So not in this weeks one. Well at least that’s how I undertsand it.

They should apologize. I, wanting to finish the quest, ended up having to buy a land expansion that I did NOT need to waste my money on just so I could get grass to cut. Arggg.

i play the sims social and i have nott had my weekly bonus in like 2 weeks just wondering whats going on and if someone can respond back to me please and thank you.
Really? Thats the first thing players usually do is clear off their land. i dont really want the social points, i would rather have a way to complete my mission. Social points dont help. Neither does your “tips”. Buy land? Seriously? So i have to use that many similoens? Thanks guys.

I like how this advice comes on the very last day.
I finally had to spend money I’d saved on new land.
Finished the quest, but it cost me dearly. 
Wish I’d waited.
PS: Why can’t we mine points, dig treasure, or take pix of things on others’ land ? As long as it doesn’t disappear for others, it would make me more interested in playing. I rarely see those items on my land and I’m a daily player. (Several times a day, in fact.)
I don’t want ppl cutting my grass when I need it for a quest, just make sure ppl have grass on their property next time if you want us to do it for a quest–geez!!
Yeah well reloading the game didn’t work for me and I reloaded like it said 10 time. this suck.

I tried to claim the 500 Simoleons…it says it is for the grass that we are not getting …therefore, we are stuck….it won’t let me claim for the grass….it does say i claimed it…..i may have claimed these points that were offered for something in the past……but not for the lack of grass to cut….please fix this….

ok, but what if i cannot expand my yard more? i stuck at this grass part and it’s 1 day left…
grass will eventually grow. I was waiting and waiting and finally today i had grass on my property. i have no finished the challenge

So… This “good luck” works for everthing, including the free social points?…
Could you at least offer the Tea Set as a free gift like this to us who cant finish the quest?
I did not recieve the 2nd 500 social points, and I could no cut grass in anyone else’s yard either. The Only request I didn’t complete. BUMMER!
i think it would be cool if we could leave messages at our neighbors houses. Sometimes I would like to tell them to move something if i can’t get close enough, nice garden, thanks for the help, or just sat hey wassup!

Not happy with SIMS, they give you a task, then they change Bella’s house. No one else will buy the stupid trees. So you can’t complete the task. How very annoying!
